Dear Yellow:

All are biological oils extremely effective for moisturization. It mainly seems clients decide based on personal preference.

But here's some general information helpful to distinguishing which oils may be better for particular concerns.

Since human skin naturally attempts to retain moisture by producing oil/sebum, we recommend that the most natural and healthiest way to moisturize skin is with biological oils.

Clients with normal-to-dry skin types can choose from any of the following:

- Emu Oil-S Lipid Replenisher for Skin
Best for dry skin types or for spot treating specific areas that are dry. Non-comedogenic for most skin types. Fact that it is loaded with additional antioxidants makes it the overwhelming choice for most anti-aging, dry skin concerns. Bright yellow-gold color. Thick consistency with very slight scent. Animal by-product.

- Squalane Oil
Best for dry skin types that are sensitive. Derived from the purest top-quality virgin olive oil which is classified as Pure Squalane olea europaea (olive) fruit oil. Contains no additional antioxidants. Clear, odorless. Non-greasy when applied correctly. Plant based.

- Retinol in Squalane
Best for very dry skin types with anti-aging concerns. Derived from the purest top-quality virgin olive oil which is classified as Pure Squalane olea europaea (olive) fruit oil. Retinyl-palmitate (retinol) added which works as an effective lipid replenisher or moisturizer - It is very different than Retin-A. Contains no additional antioxidants. Clear, odorless. Non-greasy when applied correctly. Plant based.

- CELES Therapeutic Oil
Best for extremely dry skin types with anti-aging concerns. Contains Pure Squalane with the addition of Lanosterol Esters and Cholesterol Esters for amazing deep penetrating moisturization. Contains no additional antioxidants. Clear, odorless. Non-greasy when applied correctly. Plant based.

- Calypso's Replenishing Youth Factor Oils
Best for body use. Contains Pure Squalane based in ethylhexyl palmitate (the major component of palm oil). Contains no additional antioxidants. Non-greasy when applied correctly. Scented with long-lasting plant-based pheromone fragrances.

Best Wishes,
-Skin Biology
