Zinc PCA-- Interferes with SRCP?
Dear Skin Biology,

I found a new product for blemishes that I really like, but it has zinc pca in it. I was concerned it might interefere with my Super CP Serum. Do you have any info on that?

Thank you!
Kathleen

Dear Kathleen:

Thanks for your patience...we appreciate that.

Dr. Pickart says: "Conceivably the PCA could grab the copper - We're not quite sure if it's going to help."

Thank you for the reply.

Do you mean you're not sure if the Zinc PCA will help with blemishes?

Or do you mean that Zinc PCA wouldn't help with skin remodeling b/c it might interfere with the copper peptides?

Dear Kathleen:

Dr. Pickart meant to say that he's not quite sure the Zinc PCA would really be that much help with blemishes.

We wish you the absolute best though - Please let us know how everything goes for you. What you could do if this still is a concern, is use the two different products on alternate days or at opposite ends of the day.

And, as with all of our products, use the SRCPs very lightly and carefully monitor your skin's reaction.
