So I am confused because the oil i get from here has a definate smell and color.
Is this not triple refined??

Pure fresh emu oil will be slightly cloudy and may turn solid if cooled. The oil depends greatly on what food the birds are fed. If it is a lot of corn, then the oil become more yellowish from the antioxidant pigments in corn.

All the published studies on the positive effects of emu oil use the standard type of emu oil. Heavily refined emu oil will lack many components of pure emu oil.

It is like wine - good wine has some inconsistencies while cheap wine is always totally clear.
