Dear Dr. Pickart and SkinBiology,

Yesterday I found an almost empty bottle of Tri Reduction in my travel case. After the fact, I realized that the production date was May 2010.

Will using this product be harmful? At what point do the ingredients become ineffective and/or can be harmful to someones health once the products deteriorate and become rancid?

I have many products from Skin Biology, and it takes a while to go through them, so it would be helpful to know which products expire sooner than others.

We once tested 5-year-old products and they were as effective as new products.
