could it be the iron deficiency causing diffuse graying and split-ends in some people rather than only copper deficiency?!

The general consensus is that most people have too much iron in modern culture. But you can easily be tested for your available iron in your blood.

I have been tested for low serum iron and low hemoglobin mcv> 77, although i consume a lot of red meat and liver. Could it be malabsorption ?.
