Every scientist that I know who studies aging takes many vitamins and supplements.
They all live a long time and keep active in their careers.

Dr. Pickart:
Thank you for sharing what supplements you use. You mentioned you use copper internally M-F then take the weekend off. Do you "pulse" with your other supplements too, or only copper?
I am just curious if a rest period is good for all supplements. I have read on this site to use the CP for a while maybe 3 weeks, then to take a week off.
Can you explain why this helps the body and skin? I would really appreciate that.

The entire idea about pulsing supplements needs more thought.
Some people just don't use supplements for one week a month. The idea is the reset cellular responses. In a evolutionary sense, most animals probably had periodic times of semi-starvation when all vitamins and current supplements were low.This message has been edited.
