Is there the possibility of developing a lotion with a Rose scent? Or one that is fragrance free?

I have the Ylang product, and it overpowers the Rose fragrance I use.

Thanks for posting your question - It sounds like you would benefit from the Basic (Unscented) Protect & Restore Body Lotion / It is "fragrance-free".

The basic version is "unscented", although it does contain a small amount of lavandula angustifolia (lavender) oil in the formula. The little bit of lavender oil is added for its skin soothing properties (not as a fragrance).

Ordering the Basic/Unscented version will allow you to layer your favorite scent (such as your Rose fragrance) on top without it being overpowered by an essential oil.

We have attempted a Rose fragrance for both the Calypso's Oil and our P&R Scented Body Lotions but in testing the rose essential oil was so light that we ran into the same issues you've discovered: Rose fragrance is extremely light (we would have to use massive amounts for it even to be noticed).

Even the natural scent of the copper peptides overpower it.

It is probably best to use your favorite Rose fragrance separately.
