I have been using P & R Classic for 9 months along with LacSal serum and squalane. I wanted to use the P & R for melasma on my cheekbones.

A few weeks ago, the melasma on one side turned red and started flaking a bit. It is occasionally itchy. Is this supposed to happen or is my skin irritated and I should stop? Thanks!

Back off for a week.

Sometimes buried skin damage rises to the surface. You could use a microdermabrasion cloth lightly on the flaky area to speed its removal.
