I feel I have a thousand questions lately, so I thank everyone in advance for answering me

I have a LacSal that was made in Jan of 08 - making it 4 years old, I was wondering if this is still OK to use. I have noticed that there are tiny flake-like pieces in the solution, and no matter how hard you shake the product they dont disappear. Would this be an indication of spoilage?

It should still be OK.

Some salicylic acid crystals may have formed but this is not a problem.
