Here is what we've stated on their use: "Astringents and Toners are very drying to skin and are not recommended. They can make the face look very clean and smooth by stripping the top layer of oil from the face and briefly tighten the skin. However, the skin responds by increasing oil production." However, if there is a product you are currently using that already contains a beta-hydroxy acid you probably would not have need to use Exfol Cream in addition to that (and vice-versa). But they are probably not exactly the same. Oily-to-combination skin may do better using Exfol Serum instead of the Exfol Cream. Best Wishes, -Skin Biology |
