The AHAs work better on the surface and the salicylates go deep down. This message has been edited. Last edited by: SkinBiologyWebmaster, |

It has lactic, salciylic, and that acid starting with pyr...that I can never remember the spelling of. The Medicalia.com site it worth a look. Look for the New Image Deep Peel, MJThis message has been edited. Last edited by: SkinBiologyWebmaster, |

And as invasive as the acid was (which involved 7-10 days downtime), you still will have to repeat the procedure a few times with rest/recovery months in between each intensive skin remodeling cycles. |

Location: Planet Earth Registered: 17 February 2005 Posts: 2020 | Given that I only have mild breakouts and with various bioactives (Retin-A, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, and maybe tea tree oil) available and combination therapy options, TCA is not an option for me personally. Dark or ethnic skin should avoid TCA peels. This message has been edited. Last edited by: SkinBiologyWebmaster, |
