two timing tightener
what is the percentage and form of dmae used in your two timing tightener? thanks for the info.

Dr. Pickart
It is pure DMAE at 3% at pH 5.9. In addition, it has the algae mucopolysaccharides to help tighten skin.

Some other DMAE products are at a higher pH, but this could damage skin.

thank you dr. pickart. ph is a concern since i utilize a retinoic acid analog in my routine as well. does skin biology choose to use the amine or a dmae salt in your formulation?

Dr. Pickart
We start with pure DMAE. In the water solution the DMAE will be a positively charged molecule surrounded by water molecules. It is titrated to pH 6 with HCl, so a negative choride atom is associated with the DMAE but it is not a salt.
