Location: USA Registered: 19 February 2005 Posts: 313 | Dr. Pickart, I have been using the products for several years now and I can't believe this question just came to me this morning: Why is it advised to use an exfoliating product (such as Exfol) and a Copper Peptide product at OPPOSITE ends of the day, when your Super CP Serum has both an exfoliator (Salicylic Acid) and copper in it? Suddenly, I don't understand this. Sorry if I am missing something obvious (or something I should know about the products by now), but I hope you will address this when you have a chance. Location: Skin Biology Registered: 15 September 2004 Posts: 7065 | That is a really deep question. The Super CP Serum has only a small amount of salicylic acid and it is at pH 5.9-6.0. So the salicylic acid should not be acting as an exfoliator. But many, many clients have told us that the combination of copper peptides and salicylic acid works better than the copper peptides alone. We are trying to patent this mixture. |
