I was wondering if copper peptides enter the blood stream at all.
Thank you

The peptide itself has great difficulty passing through the skin. The copper ion can pass easier but only about 0.1% passes through human skin.
In all our safety tests in animals and in human studies, we never found a rise in blood copper.
On the other hand, most humans seem to be somewhat low in copper and a small amount of copper might be beneficial. This message has been edited. Last edited by: SkinBiologyWebmaster,
