Dr Pickart, is Copper Carbonate a safe form of copper? Just got a bit worried since I just realized I've been taken this form of copper as supplement, quite high doses. And as far as I undstand it is not an organic form of copper and I have not found much information about this form of copper used as supplement.

Thanks

Thanks for the info!

Kind of wondering why it is used in supplements. Copper Carbonate is included in a list of the Swedish food safety agency of substances allowed in nutritional supplements. And there are several other products from other companies using it.

Have I risked my health now? I asume the toxicity information is regarding handling amounts measured in grams not mg?

It may not be toxic but I would not use it.
