Dr Pickart; mixing folligen and retin-A
Good day Dr Pickart,

do you think it fine to make the following mixture? mixing 1 part of Retin-A solution to 5part of folligen. This will leave a solution of 0.01% Retin-A in the mixture. Below is the ingredient of the Retin-A solution.

not sure will the solution be stable or any ingredient will be render ineffective.

Dear Private Ryan:

Thanks for posting your question. Dr. Pickart may post his personal reply later on.

You would want to be careful what you mix into Folligen as you would not want to cause excessive irritation on the scalp. Typically normal use of Folligen full strength with perhaps another penetrating agent is sufficient for clients to see results, if the product will work for them.

As you await Dr. Pickart's reply, the following post may interest you:

Your method should work unless the retin-A becomes too irritating.
