skin worse before better?
I am using Diana Yvonne AHA cleanser, and CP serum in the morning, and at night salycilic acid 5% at night, along with fruit acid peel 15% every week. My hyperpigmentation seems to be coming up more to the surface and my skin looks tired with dark under my eyes. Is that a part of the remodeling, "worse before better?"

After skin damage, a thin layer of skin usually covers the area. This makes the skin look better than it real is. As this layer is removed, the buried damage is revealed.

Look at http://reverseskinaging.com/buried-skin-damage.html.

The remodeling process will start to push up the buried skin damage to remove it from the skin. Your skin will never look very good with all the submerged damage.

Thank you so much for responding so quickly!! Patience is the key and I am in for the long haul to get my youthful skin back. Companies selling OTC products that make claims only work temporarily like a veil or cover-up, only if everyone knew what I know now...thank you so much for your knowledge and your products!
