What is Protect & Restore Day Cover? How and When to Use?
P&R Day Cover is a light cream that contains an effective concentration of Dr. Pickart's copper peptides combined with titanium dioxide, natural antioxidants and moisturizers. This cream shields your skin from the elements, restores water balance, and diminishes the appearance of wrinkles.

However, it does not have an SPF rating. We recommend clients thoroughly research the ingredients used in the sunscreen(s) they are thinking about purchasing. Look for products that use pure un-micronized titanium dioxide.

Our products that combine copper-peptides + mineral UV reflectors are: Day Cover (for daily facial use) which contains some titanium dioxide but is loaded with a surplus of anti-oxidants, and Copper Sun Tanning & Firming Lotion - Tanning and Firming Lotion (body lotion) designed by Dr. Pickart to supply anti-oxidants for use on body skin.

Day Cover can be used in the morning as an alternative instead of your standard copper peptide. Or it can be applied very lightly on top of products such as Super CP Serum or Skin Signals Solution.



How Do I Mix the New 7% Pure GHK Into My Cosmetics?
Based on controlled studies of women in their 50s, active creams containing between 0.03% - 3.0% produced visible cosmetic effects such as improved appearance and enhanced skin beauty upon self-assessment.

This indicates that an excellent starting point for mixture would be 1.5 drops per 15mL of a GHK-Cu free product (which would result in a topical containing .03% GHK-Cu).

The new 15ml size of GHK Product Accelerant was created as a “ready-to-add” ingredient to enhance Skin Biology products or other cosmetics. This may be a perfect option for clients who use other products but wish these topicals contained GHK-Cu, or for those wanting to take their favorite products (Skin Signals, Super Cop, TriReduction, etc) up a notch.

Each vial of GHK Accelerant contains approximately 7% of GHK Copper based in purified water and phenoxyethanol (a gentle preservative, also called “rose ether”). This product is in an oil-free, aqueous solution.

It may be best for clients to make their product mix in another container (rather than mixing it in the palm of their hand before use or trying to blend it into the bottle or jar of the other product).

HOW TO MIX IT:
Using a separate container, per 15 ml (or half ounce of cosmetic product), add 1-3 drops of GHK-Cu. Mix well and store in a closed container.

AVOID MIXING INTO:
• Vitamin C Products (the blend might become unstable)
• Hydroxy Acids (GHK is very fragile and would break down)
• 3% VIP Luxury Products (these already have a high GHK content)

All other cosmetic ingredients should work just fine – Product must be diluted before use.
