She was definitely 'seducing' the camera.

And BTW, I'm determined that my entire body will be okay when I'm 70 someday. I sure hope that exercise can help there also....??? I know that just like lip exercises, keeping the pectoral's supple and toned, go a long way toward anti-aging in the chest. Just don't know how long it lasts, but Jack Lalanne makes you feel it can go for some time.

Yes yes re the neck. To me it matters more than the hands.

Let's all master the neck, okay? Right now my 'derm' said my neck is one of my youngest assets. He says it's probably because I didn't gain/lose weight to stretch out the skin. But that will only get me so far.

I see that flex effect has that thing where you look up while holding your neck and then frown.

I tried the large face vaculifter (from Skinbio reseller NCN) on my neck, and it flows well on the sides, but when I go over the adam's apple it looses it's suction.

Maybe I should ask the sexy 70 woman. I think her neck looked good. But I did send her one email for more info (thought she might have a book) and I got an email back that seemed more like she was selling private lessons. It freaked me out and I didn't respond.

Besides, with the neck I worry about getting those 'chorded' muscles that older people can get. So I'm mostly focused on skin tightening.

In the meantime, I am dermarolling my neck every 6 weeks (done it twice now), plus the peels every 2 weeks. I tried to count the 'rolls' under my chin when I tucked it (as I keep saying it really really is not a double chin, just loose chin that isn't there in full profile) and hoping they go down over the next year.

So I'm rolling, peeling and ss serum and cream on my neck (with includes under my chin), Same with my hands, same issue there.

Agree with that whole-heartedly Oskyz...An old neck is the dead give away to aging and more obvious than your hands. Hands are often an indicator of hard work, so even young people can have not so perfect hands.

Even though I have used just about every size dermaroller on my face for scars, I only tried rolling my neck once and decided it is way too sensitive..Ouch!... Double Ouch!!... then Ouch Again!!!... Eeker

So I never bothered to torture myself any further, rather used TriRed & Exfol Cream mindlessly on my neck & chest for several years... I have seen some very nice progress - My neck did have a fair amount of uneven skin tone and a few lines from the sun, but has improved to the point that it doesn't bother me at all anymore.

Also, I think my little "facial flex device" has done a great job in toning my neck & jawline. Didn't know that the "look up & frown" was an official facial exercise?.... Been doing that for yrs on my own..kinda of common sense.

Can't worry or think about being 70 someday, but will just tackle my 50's year by year which will build the foundation for hopefully being "Fabulous at 60 - then 70"...etc, etc.

Once the scars are dealt with, it should get much easier...the buried damage was a major contributor to my aging-look on many areas of my face.

Oskyzz no question resistance training will go a long long way to keeping a young looking body. Thats what got me into serious body remodeling of the skin. Weigh the same as I did 25 years old and muscle measurements are almost identical. Thought why not push back the age of the skin 25 years.

The two hand neck strangle from FE is good. I have another book that has one good exercise for the neck I use.

1) Put your fist against the neck skin under the chin with forearm vertical. Not the chin itself.

2)Then just open your mouth and use the fist as resistance. Go for 3-5 seconds till mouth wide open.

Two NO's with this one:

NO negative reps i.e where the fist pushes the mouth closed only positive reps where the mouth pushes he fist down.

NO isometrics. The fist and arm are strong enough to hold the mouth from opening and turn it into isometric. You want to provide some light resistance with the fist but the mouth should gradually open all the way over 3-5 seconds.

Those "NO's" arn't stated in the exercises but trust me on this one.

Yes a funky neck can actually make a youthful face look like surgery was done, even when it's natural (CPs and face exercises)

Stoney,

Have you tried a shorter needle dermaroller? To me my mouth and nose areas are by far the most sensitive. Encouraging to hear that CPs have helped your neck!

Maxx,

Ok, I will add that one, thanks. Is it for under the chin? I 'trust' you on the no-nos.

I'm still doing your modified Carol Maggio eyebrow lift BTW.

Yes Oskyz, A short needle roller would definitely be better for the neck. I doubt I will be using though since my neck has smoothed & evened out nicely just from CPs -or- Maybe I am a bigger baby than I let on to be???...

Actually, I am totally focused & 100% committed to scar removal which requires constant monitoring. Getting close, but still sporting some of the "not so pretty side" Red Face of decimating the damage on my chin. Only using mild CPs to finish it off...resisting the urge to use anything stronger than Skin Signals to avoid pushing up more damage until after the New Year & ONLY if needed...hopefully NOT!

My rountine for the next 2 months:
AM:
1.) Cleanse
2.) 2% SA Pads and/or Exfol Serum (need to step to help keep my ever-clogging pores clear)
3.) Skin Signals Solution/Emu
4/) DayCover

PM:
Alternating
1.) Cleanse
2.) LacSal Cream (wait 45 min to an hr.)
3.) P& R Cream

-or-

2.) Retin-A - .05 (wait 45 min to an hr)
3.) Skin Signals Cream

Also dabbing a little Vit E on spots that I am still removing damage twice a day...

Will probably do at least one 30% SA Peel...

My cheeks, forehead, nose & eyes all look very good (not 100% - but almost totally scar-free)... & my skin overall is taut & tight. It is amazing, that once the buried damage is out, how much better your skin looks...and the tightening from CPs is nothing short of remarkable.

No more "faux wrinkles" either which was mostly hidden scars causing expression lines to get stuck...like in between the eyes and NL area, forehead.

My skin was HORRIBLY damaged & I plan on sticking it out to the end which will hopefully be before I am 70... Laughing...but STILL recommend (knowing what I know & what I have been through) to target ONLY the obvious in terms of attacking scar.

LOL Maxx, Not so sure about ever turning into a mega-cougar, myself?...

Once a cougar - always a cougar no matter what the age...some just can't give it up. I remember a few all the way back to grade school... Laughing

Actually, wholesome, natural & interesting is far sexier to me. You shouldn't have to try that hard...
