Right now I only use sunscreen when I see the sun shining. If it's a cloudy day, I don't bother with sunscreen at all. I know sunscreen can be damaging to my skin. In fact, I dread using it on top of all the other actives and goodies that I put on my skin. But I believe it is a necessary evil when the sun is shining brightly and I need to be outside. So what do the experts think? Should I bother using sunscreen when it's cloudy outside? It's about 15 minute drive to work, should I still put sunscreen on my face for that short amount of protection when the sun is shining brightly? |

So don't overdo sun avoidance. Stick to physical sunscreens and protective clothes. Sunscreen oils get into the skin where they generate free radicals when activated by UV light. |
