I've done some reading regarding sunscreen. It said that on a cloudy day, the sun's ray can still damage your skin.

Right now I only use sunscreen when I see the sun shining. If it's a cloudy day, I don't bother with sunscreen at all.

I know sunscreen can be damaging to my skin. In fact, I dread using it on top of all the other actives and goodies that I put on my skin. But I believe it is a necessary evil when the sun is shining brightly and I need to be outside.

So what do the experts think? Should I bother using sunscreen when it's cloudy outside? It's about 15 minute drive to work, should I still put sunscreen on my face for that short amount of protection when the sun is shining brightly?

There is increasing evidence that people who spend more time in sunlight are healthier and live longer. So don't overdo sun avoidance.

Stick to physical sunscreens and protective clothes. Sunscreen oils get into the skin where they generate free radicals when activated by UV light.
