Hello all . I was a huge fan of Skin Biology products and have recently gone back to them. I had a break for two years. Goodness only knows why, when my father was ill. During that time, I had received a lot of sun exposure on the decollete when driving long distances to hospitals etc.( I live in north Queensland Australia where the sun has a real bite) The area is in a lare v and goes up to my neck. I'm trying the wildberry and kojic acid which I've been on two weeks now . I would love to hear what others have used. I also use skin signals, lacsal cream and have introduced a derma roller. I also stay out of the sun and wear a scarf when I drive.

Howmeow, Being a sun lover myself & spending many yrs in the South Pacific soaking up the hot tropial rays
I also used "wilberry & kojic" before becoming an SB Girl with little to no results. Sun damage like this is just not on the surface but runs deep. So I mindlessly have been applying LacSal & Tri-Red Cream for over a yr. & have seen some lightening & decent results...mostly on my neck which bothered me the most. Sometimes I apply Retin-A as well. I tried ROLLING the area once... It would be very difficult to get this area back to "virgin skin", but I am happy just to see it even out. It is still my 100 yr old hands that I have to work on... |

Thanks for replying Stoney. I think I'm being a tad impatient. I have had some breaking up of the colour since using the copper peptides, but was wondering how the kojic would go.
I'll definitely keep up the rolling. I have to be very careful on the neck. I overdid it last time. Like you I would be happy to see it even out more. Let me know how your hands go. I have just started treating mine. Cheers Kathrynn |

I tried some Kojic on the two patches, one beneath each eye and felt it did nothing.I spent money on it too and regretted it as I always do.I should have spent that on Skin Biology.Using my free sample of Skin Solution worked better in one night than that Kojic did in two weeks. The patches are seeming to break up as you said also.Instead of a big connected blob, they are turning into separated freckles which I think will go away over time.
I actually think I should have ordered more of s.b's perfume with that money. |

Buried skin damage usually causes irregularities in human skin such a bumps, pits or altered pigmentation.
This buried damage is usually covered, and trapped in place, by relatively good looking skin. The use of copper peptides, hydroxy acids, abrasion, needling, and retinoic acid help remove the covering skin and the the pushing up and out of the area of damage. One of the ways that sun damage on skin manifests itself is as dark patches of excess melanin produced in response to UV exposure. This excess melanin is much easier to visualize in the UV than in the visible band. Bruising, bite marks and scar tissue can also be seen in the UV months after they have faded to the eye. It is difficult to convince people of the huge problem of buried skin damage, but look at the pictures at Oculus Photonics at http://www.uvcorder.com/applications/3.html |
