I've gone to this Dr. Lam site before. It's a very good site, I think.

He recommends sleeping for 11 hours a day. I think that is ridiculous. But the other advice looks good.

I couldn't agree more.

I wouldn't go for less than 12.

Some days I feel that I can sleep all day. I don't think that I have adrenal fatigue - just garden variety fatigue.

Anything over 9 hours is a waste of time, and actually detrimental to you. The human body is not designed for that kind of inactivity

Lol, I think he is recommending that to rest your adrenals and your bod and let yourself repair. You have to think of a person with adrenal fatigue as someone who has an illness and has burnt themselves out, literally.

That said, I don't think I could sleep 11 hours every day, either.

I don't think it's a waste when you're bone tired or have been sleep deprived for several days. When I get too sleep deprived, my body will often crave a good 12 hours sleep! And when I get it, I feel 10 times better.

Hmmm... so Adrenal fatique can make your skin look bad huh? I wonder if that's another factor in why my skin started looking worse. I was eating a ton of sugar and caffiene, I know I got adrenal fatique from it. I used to have literally almost unlimited energy until consuming a lot of caffiene for a few months.

It doesn't make a huge difference on your skin, except you look pale.

The caffeine isn't that bad either.

Sugar is the main cause of your skin damage. Alpha lipoic acid quells sugar from binding onto your skin collagen.
