I just tried Day Cover for the first time. It's amazing. It's so lightweight, it feels very pleasant and clean on my skin. It protected me from burning on my face and body extremely well. One or two applications were sufficient for all day. I have light caucasian skin that burns easily and tans somewhat.

My first test of the Day Cover happened on a trip to Colorado. I was at 5,000-8,000 ft elevation and spending a lot of time outdoors in the sun. The Day Cover kept me from burning. One day I went without it for 2 hours and I turning a little red.

I've never been able to use sunscreens of any other brand. Their thick, slimy, and greasy formulations caused nasty acne breakouts, in addition to making me feel like I was swathed in plastic and my skin couldn't sweat or breathe properly. Additionally, the chemical sunscreens would always leave my skin a little swollen and painful to the touch the next day, like it was burned worse than if I had worn nothing.

I had given up on sunscreen lotions entirely, and was using mineral powder and hats to do a halfway decent job of sun protection. (Emphasis on halfway, it wasn't nearly enough for more than an hour or two in strong sun.)

It's so freeing to not have to constantly depend on long sleeves and hats for sun protection. It's so nice to come back from a high altitude, sun filled trip and not have the skin on my hands, arms, and face trashed from too much sun exposure. It's so nice to be able to go out in shorts and not come back with sunburned calves!!

My traveling companions, who are guys that hate the feel of sunscreen more than I do, were using the Day Cover on their faces very happily.

OK, this may sound a bit maudlin, but I really mean it: a big kiss and big thanks to Dr. Pickart and SkinBio. Smiler
