pinkdervishFor SkinBiology & Dr. Pickart:Why use Henna in Folligen Shampoo and Conditioner?
Dear SkinBiology and/or Dr. Pickart:
I'd like to know why Henna is used in the Folligen shampoo and conditioner. While I love the clean feel and health benefits of Folligen shampoo and conditioner, I'm worried that the Henna used in both formulas will affect my haircolor, as I pay quite a bit at the salon to have professional highlights applied to my hair.
Any information you can provide about the selection of ingredients used in Folligen shampoo and conditioner, including Henna, would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You!

Skin BiologyDear pinkdervish:
Lawsonia Inermis (or Henna) extracts are used in
Folligen Therapy Shampoo to bring out natural highlights and add luster.
Henna has actually been used for thousands of years on human hair and seems to have a number of beneficial properties.
We haven't had complaints from clients about coloring. The amount of henna extract used is minimal in the shampoo and should not negatively affect your highlights.
