Hi guys/gals,
I read that you recommend the dermaroller in combination with the cp's when working on your scars. However, I have white RAISED scars on my face, and I read on the dermaroller website that 'using a Dermaroller on these types of scars is NOT recommended. As the Dermaroller promotes collagen formation, the fact that these particular scar types are the result of an over production of collagen, it is clear to see why this method of scar removal is not appropriate.' So...my question is, has anyone used the dermaroller in combination with the cp's on raised scar tissue and had positive results with it?? If so, what needle length should be wise to use? Also, one more question, sorry. When do you put the cp's on your scars? Right after rolling or do you wait a couple of days? Again, sorry for asking so many detailed questions, but this is really important for me since I want to get rid of these ugly scars once and for all. Thank you! |

Dear Honey Child:
Perhaps others will chime in with their experiences, or you can do a search on our message board here and find the answers to what other clients are using for raised hypopigmented scars. We have had clients achieve good results with both raised hyper and hypopigmented scars by using copper-peptides + a method of abrasion (either with hydroxy acids or a manual method). Be sure to review the information at: Remove Keloids and Scar Tissue with Hydroxy Acids and Copper-Peptides Best Wishes, -Skin Bio Team |
