Hello, i just started using treinoin cream .025% which was prescribed by my doctor and the past couple of days the only result i have seen is flakeness in my skin (wich was after i had taken a shower) and i have used a pretty decent amount (probably the amount you would use for toothpast) anyways, i was wondering if i put this on at night, could i use super cop 2x over it where my scars are? Thanks for the help

Many people use the retinoids and SRCP together. Just avoid irritating your skin from using too much Super Cop.

Dave, I use tretinoin .05% with Super CP Serum. I apply the SRCP first, then the tretinoin and don't necessarily wait any particular amount of time before applying the tretinion. I don't know that it matters which is applied first. I have good success with this.

I can't remember which retinoic acid it was, but one of them has to be applied when the face is totally dry. Check the instructions on the tube.

Just a few minutes.

This is how we started in cosmetic skin products. We were developing products for hospital and nursing home skin care. Women started using our first product (BioHeal) with Retin-A or hydroxy acids and told us that the combination worked very well on their skin.

Doctor Pickart,
Does that mean that they (retin-a and Super cop) do not work against each other if applied AT THE SAME TIME?

Even retin a in CREAM form?

I wish we could clarify as well which layer should be applied first, the CP or tretinoin... Thank you and Dr. Pickart You are a GOOD MAN. (P.S. What do you think of other peptides like oligo peptides, soy, argiriline, etc.., are they just as effective in removing scars?)

I apply tretinoin cream .05% and then super cp serum on my husbands scars... I have not tried the cream with super cop 2x as I find the super cop 2x strong on its own.

The retinoic acid should work well with the SRCPS. This is how we got into cosmetics. We were trying to make products for nursing home skin care to reduce skin sores (no pharmaceutical company wants preventatives). Then women in our local community started using BioHeal with retin-A or with hydroxy acids and started telling us that the two products together worked very well.

As for oligo peptides and argiriline - such molecules push proteins into the skin but do not help the removal of damaged protein. They can often produce hard spots in the skin. Such types of peptides were tested for wound healing 15 years ago but produced excessive scarring.
