Hi
I used ALOT of strong BP products back in my 20s. (mum used to ask me why all her pillow caes and sheets, even the floor was bleached!) I have noticed that whenever I roll harshly or rough my skin up at all, I seem to get these under the skin bumps...never a good thing. They are in places where I had bad cystic zits, I only ever had a few really bad re occuring spots, and im pretty sure these are the places where im having issues. This time im not using BPs so I hope I get rid of these under the skin nasties. Some spots go away quickly, others turn into a zit- but one that is 'purging' and sore. Im looking for any rats tails??? so far cant see any hard tissue...??? I suspect it might be there though?? how would I know? It feels like everytime I see an improvement, my skin throws me another challenge... If I have to re-live every zit I EVER had, I think I might REALLY loose patience!! |

Dear Celestial:
Thank you for posting - Again the key with skin renewal is to go slow. Since the skin is in layers, and damage many times exists in layers, a strong "pushing up" of healthier skin may cause buried damage to come to the fore. Here are some tips on how to deal with such a situation: 1. Again the main thing is to go slow. Use the mildest SRCP product first and very slowly work up to the stronger products if needed. 2. Use a gentle but effective method of exfoliation along with your copper-peptide product. This way you are sloughing off (exfoliating off) any damage that may come to the fore. This process is the only true method to remodel or renew the skin. It is not a cosmetic cover up or "quick fix". It does takes time and patience. But it repairs damage from the inside out and in time helps reveal younger, healthier, tighter skin. We would recommend carefully reviewing the following links on SRCPs: Layers of Damage The Science Behind Scar Reduction How to Reduce Scars and Blemishes What is Skin Remodeling? Thanks, I am using super cop, I dilute if needed, but have been using it for over a year, no problems, my skin is not delicate.
I also use lacsal serum and emu oil. Infact im eagerly waiting on an order I placed for MORE SB stuff, last week??lol I recently ACCIDENTLY nearly rubbed the skin OFF my face with dermbrasion cloth, and now im seeing the hidden damage coming to the surface. Wondering if this is what stoney is speaking of. Should I leave the spots alone, or pick at them with tweezers? I know this is a long slow process C. |

Hi Celestial, This is where the "it looks worse before it looks better" comes into play. BP revenge isn't easy or pretty....
It is best NOT to get carried away & only pluck anything out that is obviously close to the surface. If it won't budge, then layer it a few times with Exfol/LacSal. It will release within a day or 2. Then let the area alone using your Super COP to spot treat overnight waiting a day to see if anymore push up. Give yourself a couple of days in between to allow the surrounding skin to rebuild a little (or become less stressed) & it will become more resillient so you can proceed. One of my biggest secrets is to back off completely from strong CPs even if I am working on a stubborn area if I have to look good. I use only P&R Cream & Emu Oil on my face, then resume when I'm ready for more demolition. Just take your time...no matter what, the damage is done & since "Rome wasn't built in a day" as SeanySean mentions regarding facial exercise... The results are worth the "agony of it all"! |

Thanks so much for your advise Stoney...This is what im having a great time with now the BP revenge. Your post has confirmed it.
I will slow down for a few days, funny enough, maybe im psychic, I only used lacsal tonight....*spooky. I switch around my products/procedures to suit both my skins needs and my lifestyle. I did notice a hard plug type thing come out of one spot, and now its closing and healing. I heal quickly using emu, blessed!! Not EVERY spot that comes up has a hard callousy type thingy in it, some are just like a whitehead, coming to the surface. They go away when I press on them. Im fortunate to have wonderful friends who dont judge me, so I dont even need to hide much when im looking frightfull. I just live with this skin whatever its doing on the paticular day....I found the less stress, the better. Theres a positive to having bad skin-people assume you are 21. im nearly 40, so thats a bonus. I have another year of 'working' on my skin ahead, maybe longer, thats okay, its worth it. Im looking forward to having healthy skin. During the past year, I have had glimpses of what healthy skin will look like. Im buying some invisible zinc tomorrow, I hope this is afe to use- its the strongest sunscreen available, apparently with zinc oxide as main ingredient. Lets hope its a good one, I live by the beach, and DO NOT want any pigmentation. Thanks Stoney |

Everyone should look at the photos of buried skin damage at http://reverseskinaging.com/buried-skin-damage.html.
