I have to admit i have not read about the products yet and I have heard about rolling\needling which i am interested in. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Four weeks ago i had the red superficial veins (very mild) on the sides of my nose treated with a cutera xeo coolglide. I blistered within 20min and i now appear to have what looks like "crater" scars and the skin appears whiter. It is still a bit red around the perimeters and in fact on the side thats worse it initially swelled up the side of my nose to around 1 inch below my eye. The scars are on either side of my nose, one is in the corner of where my nostril and face is and the other side is a bit higher on the side of the nose. The person was a technican and was not under a doctors supervision. I thought it would be ok as i had laser hair removal and laser genesis (once) with no adverse reactions. Today I saw a cosmetic plastic surgeon. My impression of what he said is first give it time (months) to see how it will heal and that most likely I will always have visible scarring. Tomorrow i am seeing a dermatlogist. I have been using Vit E and they gave me something that has copper in it. My question is where do i start and when and with what products\procedures. Help please! i am very upset. thank you... |

Using a light coating of CP Serum followed by Emu Oil for Skin with Antioxidants usually clears up these problems but it takes a few months.
Be sure to start lightly! Later you may use stronger products like Super CP Serum, Super Cop, and Hydroxy Acids. But injured skin must be "babied" back into good health. |

Thank you for your quick response. ok, so i understand baby steps. would i start off this way and wait to see how my skin responds. how do i determine when to use a stronger product. Also, when would be a good time to start rolling and can these areas of the nose be rolled. Today a dermatologist said that the dermis was burned and I will always look like i have a scar, like an acne scar.
thanks again! |

The cleanser will help but use any cleaning very lightly.
For now just use CP Serum followed by Emu Oil - both lightly. |

I have a few questions. I recieved the CP serum, emu oil and some sample products in June. I was too nervous to apply the CP serum to my scar on my nose but i did use it for a while on a c-section scar with no noticable change. The scar on my nose has improved with minimal treatment, its is still crater like and slighlty darker and the skin continues to peel of a few time a week, like its exfoiliating. Is the CP serum strong enough to use now, as the scar is now getting older? I feel that is it no longer healing\progressing on its own with vit E and a few other applied creams. And can i use the CP serum on my entire face for monthly breakouts and would my face look worse before it looks better? Also, are there specefic products that should be kept in the fridge?
thank you |

I recently in September got the same problem from a laser I was trying to remove one spider vein on the side of my nose, it has been 6 weeks now and I still have a round crater trying to fill in, can you tell me if the products worked for you and has it filled in at all to normal level? I ordered CP Serum and emu oil 2 days ago, how long does it take I am really upset and sad about this mostly because the holidays are coming up and i am hoping it would be better by then it is now October 28. Should I use Bioheal first. By the way I didnt blister and never let it become a scab it just turned white and the white skin fell off 1 day later which left me with a very deep depressed scar.

Start the CP Serum lightly. If you use various oils of vitamin E, put then on after the CP Serum so that they push more copper peptides into your skin. You can use it also for your entire face, but again, start it lightly. |

Try the Bioheal first. It takes time rebuild skin. The fast methods only cover up damage. |

I blistered within 20 minutes on either side of my nose and smaller ones on my chin. I had major blistering\crusting, redness (swelling up to my eye) for about 1 month after. When the scab fell of i was left with a waxy crater like depressed scar with enlarged pores. I was sick when i saw what was uncovered. I ordered the CP serum and emu oil but I did not use them until about 1 month ago...this all happened last May. I had read that the scar will look worse before it would get better and i really did not want to look any worse and waited to see how it would heal while using Vit E from a capsule and bio-oil from the drugstore. It sounds gross but i exfoliate the area by picking the skin off. You will see from my most recent post yesterday that I wasn't finding anymore improvement with the CP and emu oil. Dr. P said to try Super cop and needling. In general my overall improvement has been complete reduction of enlarged pores, which were big enough for my 4 year old daugther to say "mom, it looks like you have holes in your skin". When i wear make-up nobody notices the crater scars unless i point it out...even a photographer\makeup artist. About being sad...yes its quite horrible to have to go through this and i still hope for the best and am always looking for alternatives. You mentioned no blister\scar...i'm not a medical doctor but it sounds like you had a blanching affect of the actual vessel which the technician pointed out to me during the procedure and perhaps the vessel peeled off which i think is deep, this might explain the the depressed scar... btw way do you know what type of laser was used and was it under a doctors supervision? The one i had was a Cutera. best of luck! |

It was the yag laser, and yes doctors where there, she commented to me that I just dont have the type of skin for these procedures, well i am using the CP Serum right away to get rid of this or to the point where i can look in the mirror and not cry. my question to you is how long has it been and when did you start seeing it fill in and is it fill in now. I mean I can't even put on makeup over it because it just depresses right into the scar and makes it worst, I can deal with the reddness and discoloration but not the skin being depressed in that spot.

If thats the case regarding your skin type the doctor should have known that before doing the procedure. Also, the technican has to know what they are doing.
This happened to me last May and it has not completley filled in, i still have a crater on both sides of my nose. Luckily, i can cover it with make-up but of course i can still notice it. Perhaps yours is deeper and therefore covering it is more difficult. i am really sorry i cant be of more help. I am still trying to find ways myself of healing the tissue. I am now feeling angry about it all and i am seeking compensation...before i felt like no amount of compensation would "fix" it but now i am angry about the situation. If you want to PM me your email address i could send you some pics to view my progress. take care |

I'm so sorry to hear that happened to you! I myself had a horrifying incident of face melting (literally! came away with a cloth when I tried dabbing it with water as suggested!) so I can totally empathize.
If it was any other part of your face, I would suggest a dermaroller. Between that and needling, I have refilled several depressions in my face almost completely. Since it's your nose, the only thing I know of that may produce something similar is a derma stamp. I have seen one on the nova clinic website, but if you search out 'derma stamp' you should be able to find one on your own. Skin signals and super cp serum are what I would use on rolling days, but maybe dr pickart would suggest you start on something milder? Anyway, I hope that helps. Just make sure the needle length is not too long if its the side of your nose. * I just thought I should specify that the idea would be to stimulate collagen with the needles, but also to use them to further push in the copper peptides. This combination can really work wonders. Of course, you will want to follow dr pickarts directions to baby your skin for the time being. This would be something for after you've healed enough to continue if you haven't seen enough progress in the early stages of healing. This message has been edited. Last edited by: petrified, |
