Hi guys,
I have recently been spot treating with super cop 2X to a small hypoigmentation burn scar I have. The scar was looking better with use of just super CP serum, not quite as 'Whitish" and noticeable. However, After just a week of using super cop 2x on it, the scar looks more whitish and definitely has a rough, slightly raised scar texture to it. What is possibly happening and how should I address it. Thanks! |

Scars sometimes look worse as the skin is ejecting them. They may turn to a brown color before they fall off.
Keep in mind that scar tissue is not dead tissue but a self-replicating differentiated form of skin - something like a callus. So you have to remove it totally to keep it from coming back. But with needles and hydroxy acids you can remove the scar tissue with time. |
