Hi Foxe,
Thanks for coming back... I do realize what the "waiting" peroid means, it is to get "Optimal Results" from your produts....doesn't mean you're not going to still get benefits with "Continual Use" with a "Daily Regimine"... Dr. Pickart answered this for me based on "Maximum Results", but doesn't "Preach This" since it is unrealistic for MOST to do on a regular basis... Why do you think he didn't answer my question on the link where I asked it??... ...He doesn't want to discourage people since very few can "wait" MOST of the time, especially in the AM...I don't think he's hiding anything... You may not get the "MOST" day in & day out of your products...but when you can & have the time to spend, I think it is "Good Knowlege" for everyone.... I do however, do a Med-stregnth "Papaya Enzyme Peel" twice weekly & a $40% Peel every 10 -14 days...those I do wait (This hoefully compensates for when I can't)...just find it very difficult to fit into my day to day routine... ....Hope you are reaching your goal soon!!! |

Hey Ophelia..Hope you're having a Great Holiday Weekend!!! Once I'm gone, which will be in the near future...(I have some people flying in from the west coast to see the house for a 2nd time)...unfortuantely this whole BP thing will die & the industry will still go on... I'm hoping to just "hit a handful" through the SB forums based on my own experineces... I think Summerwave will be the one that I'll hand my voice off to...she is the one who keeps nudging me...lol I hear you about "taking a day off" though, I'm just glad I didn't do it on the "4th of July" or I would have never got that "complement" from Dr. Pickart....That will last me the "rest of my life"! Anyway, I plan on "Blueberry-Picking" today...the fields are turning blue early this year from all the fog & rain we had this spring... I do want to ask you, though "How's your routine going?"... I know I shouldn't care, but I REALLY DO! This message has been edited. Last edited by: stoney, |

If I don't roll tonight it will be tomorrow AM for me... The main scar on my cheek is really disappearing...I still can't belive it!!! & that "alien bump" near my eye (the 2nd nastiest spot) is finally going away for good! Hoping the roll will do "its Magic".... Let me know how yours goes this week... |

Stoney, I hope you can check in with us after your move.
You're my Yoda in this battle against the dark side (of alien plugs). "The CP Force is strong in this one." |

I'm just checking in on my business...Sat's are a big day for me...
...and I am wearing my "Clinique City Block Suncreen" today...the sun is "strong" out in the fields.... I meant to ask you Summerwave, "Did anyone notice your improving skin"?... even if they didn't say anything...could you tell? They MUST have... |

Why "shouln't you care"? We are all in this together. I actually appreciate it. OK here's the deal- about two and half weeks ago I had a professional dermaroller treatment performed. A 1.5mm roller was used. She used numbing cream and rolled for a long time. Then she put some "peptides" on my face and rolled some more. Then she used a "cold laser" for redness and healing. Then she put on some medical grade aloe (used for cancer patients) and I was on my way. I looked awful. I don't understand it when people talk about their skin looking better after rolling. Mine has always looked worse for about 3-5 days after. My skin is weird. I had a significant amount of purging but things have settled down. Now I am just looking forward to healing. (fingers crossed) It is too soon for me to make any judgement on the success of the treatment. I had it done at AY Wellness. Kelly (the naturopath) was so wonderful. I can't even say enough nice things about her. She really makes you feel hopeful and isn't that what we all need? Anyway, I plan on having at least two more done. Maybe I will get the second one done in a month. I am using the cps and will be trying to use my home care roller (VERY short needles) every few days if my skin will allow. So there is my story. |

Anyway, I'm done picking for the day & I just couldn't resist...
Ophelia, I am trying, but today is not the day for me to "take off"... All this "Paula Begoun talk" got me into digging out my old book that I used to refer to the "most" back in the 90's..."Don't Go To The Comestic Counter Without Me" 3rd Edition... I looked up "ProActiv" & sure enough there is a "thumps up" "SMILEY FACE" next to the repairing lotion... I now know where I got my reinforcement to think this product was "GOOD" for me... I followed that book like the "Bible" back then... Now, I have someone else to angry with... I truly believed what she was saying, (remember I was suspect even back then)...I'm only listening to myself from "here on out"! |

Stoney, I think you might have misunderstood when I said "how about taking a day off". That is just the anti tobacco ad. They are asking the tobacco co. to take a day off and basically save 1500 lives. I meant nothing about you taking a "day off". In fact, maybe you can figure out how to attach a bp warning to every one of your posts. I have seen some people that have a quote that consistently comes up with all of their replies. |

[/quote] Don't worry Ophelia, I didn't take it personally...sometimes even I can be a little dense! Actually not taking things personally is one of my "better qualities"....You just don't want to "cross me" though...there is a difference! lol It sounds wonderful to have "naturopath" working with you...you will start seeing some improvement, I'm sure of that, but it will take time.... ...unfortunately for all of us, it does get worse before it gets better... I too am still dealing with it... ...back to my garden... |

Below is a quote from Lila
quote: Originally posted by Ophelia--: Lila, thank you for sharing that with us. I am so happy you are seeing improvement. Are you just using cps? I know (from reading some of your other posts) that you have had needling done. Was it done professionally? What roller is being used? What is your routine? Thank you for any info you feel comfortable giving. U're very welcome ... I'm more than happy to share anything and everything, especially if it can help somebody else. Yes, I've had a few professional needling sessions done within the last couple years; a permanent make-up gun was used. Indeed I only use CP's and Super CP ... the results r like I've already mentioned; so far so good but just soooo long and at times ... I get so frustrated 'cause I want the scars completely eradicated from my face !!! Cheers Thank you for your reply. I understand frustration. When was your first treatment? You said you have seen improvement right? After how many weeks did you notice it improving? I truly hope your expectations for skin healing are surpassed. |

Don't worry Summerwave, Even if I sell the house tomorrow, it will be a couple of months before I move... Just have to make sure that these people are going to "Take care of my Hummingbirds"...last year I went through a record breaking 40 lbs. of sugar. I'll probably hit the 50 lb mark this year!...I do know how to "Create A Monster"... Anyway, Where did you find that "Skitter Critter" icon aka: alien-plug, for the rest of the world "BP Bump"? ...I need to find one of "Sherlock Holmes w/ his Big Magnifying Glass"...mmm, that would come in very handy...don't you think?... |

I'm liking that idea Ophelia... I do have a pretty big place...I'm just not sure if Dr. Pickart would show...I still think he may suspect that I'm the "FDA-in-disguise"...lol It may have to wait until we build our next house though... by then, everyone should hopefully have "Clear, Glowing, Timeless, Faces"... |

Stoney, Nobody said anything, but at least I felt more confident. I didn't have to worry too much about how my face looked and could just enjoy myself. |

I'm not a "PB hater", but she is definitely the one who convinced me to stay on BP back when I was so concerned about it the first time. I had my doubts about its safety, but her material assured it was OK. Anyway, it's in the past and as much as I hate the skin damage it caused, it is only one of the many skin problems I'm battling. On a positive note, I am able to just use my mineral foundation powder now instead of liquid or cream foundation! It's Mineral Basics and very natural. It's not drying as long as I use the emu and Day Cover under it. I use a kabuki brush to apply it, and then dot a bit more on with my finger in any spot that needs extra concealing. Here are the ingredients in the foundation: Mica (CI 77019), Zinc Oxide (CI 77947), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77492, CI 77491), Ultramarine Blue (CI 77007) It provides some extra spf coverage too. The website is mineralbasics.com |

Lila, Ophelia, I understand this frustration so well! At times I run out of patience and wish my skin could just hurry up and regenerate. That's when it helps me to look at my "before" pic or come here. Hope you are having a good weekend. |

I rolled tonight after we got home from an out-of-town wedding. I rolled pretty thoroughly and was quite pink and had the stinging/burning feeling. I put on Super CP Serum afterwards. The pain has calmed almost completely now. Soon, I will apply emu.
