I am wondering if the super cop serum/cream with salicylic acid are ok to use during pregnancy. I have read that salicylic acid should not be used. I get the impression that Dr. Pickart thinks it is safe. Does anyone know the answer?
Thanks, CM

The concern would be a possible action on blood clotting. But ask your physician about salicylic acid skin products.

Aspirin and other drugs containing salicylate are not recommended during pregnancy, especially during the last three months. In rare cases, a woman's health care provider may want her to use these type of drugs under close watch. Acetylsalicylate, a common ingredient in many OTC painkillers, may make a pregnancy last longer and may cause severe bleeding before and after delivery.

You might just use CP Serum followed by Emu Oil for Skin.

This is a mild system but very safe.

I noticed that the TriReduction basic and BioHeal do not have salicylic acid and are stronger than the cp serum. Would these products work better for stretch marks during pregnancy instead of cp serum?

CP Serum and Emu Oil would be the safest products.
