So...I am wondering how/when I should decide to throw away expired shelf life Emu Oi.

Would it change color, smell, or texture once the Emu Oil gets bad?

I have an opened bottle of Emu Oil dated sometimes later 2009 in room temp and unopened bottle date 02/10 kept in the shelf a bit cooler than room temp. Basically, both bottles are expired @ shelf life long time ago.

I kinda searched on the forum, but I couldn't find answers.

Please let me know.

Thank you very much! Smiler

If it smells rancid, the discard it.

But many of such fats can be stored for years at cool temperatures with few chnages. So you products are not necessarily too old.

Thank you, Dr. Pickart!

I still have 1/3 of the first bottle to finish, so I will use them until...it smells horrible. Big Grin
