Hi, I am writing to see if it is ok to use Azelaic acid at the same time as Super CP. I read answers to this question on a number of posts already, but Dr. Pickart seems to have varying advice.

In at least 2 posts he said not to use them together and then in another 1 or 2 posts he said that people have good results using them together...

I am confused! Can I use them together - or how long apart should I wait between using each (e.g. alternating every other day)?

Thanks for your help!

The problem is that azelaic acid can bind copper. So it is best to use the two products on alternate days or at different times of a day.

I see you are in Santa Barbara. This is where I started the key work that led to Skin Remodeling Copper Peptides.

what about sodium bicarbonate or sodium carbonate do they still bind copper, if used along with copper peptide creams as toothpaste?

Wouldn't that render cp as ineffective for sore gum healing?

Sodium carbonate will not bind copper.
