Dear Dr. Pickart,

I am a 28 year old male of South Asian origin and I have been suffering from pigmented and chapped upper lips since I was 17. No matter whether I smoke or not, the brown pigments on my upper lips are always present. I would like to know if there is any product that could help removing the pigmentation on my lips and restoring the original lip color and skin.

Trireduction Cream is often used on lips. But it may take a some time to improve the appearance of the skin.

Abrasion and hydroxy acids are too harsh for lips.
