I have mild bags under my eyes and worse ones on upper lids and eye area. The bags actually are not on the upper lids, but all along the upper browbone area. Near the inner corner of each eye, the bags are touching my upper lids. I have had these for years and have tried many eye creams. None do anything for the bags. I seem to be healthy, but am in mid 50's, so perhaps it's a circulation problem due to age. I would like to know which Skin Biology products to try first.

For your eyes, read CP Night Eyes This is a
difficult area but it can be rejuvenated and the skin around the eyes
tightened.

Look at the Before and After pictures and read the comments.

1. Use a very mild cleanser around the eyes such as our Gentle Clean. Do
not over cleanse the skin. Use biological oils such as
squalane or emu oil to remove make up .

2. The key for rejuvenation around the eyes is to go slow. This is very thin
skin and often heavily damaged. Start with CP Night Eyes premier - a
very mild cream, then move to stronger products as your skin becomes
more protective.

3. Sometimes this skin become loose before it tightens. This is
reversible but happens if products are overused. Older skin often
forms a hardened covering that holds the area together. If this is
removed too fast, the skin area will temporarily becomes looser until
new elastin and collagen pull the skin tight again.

Skin Biology's new Two Timing Tightener (DMAE and polysaccharides)
solution can help give the skin a tighter appearance during this time.

4. Women often use Squalane first around the eyes and then CP Serum.
This gives a more mild action. As the skin starts to look better, you can move to
stronger products.

5. If you have very sensitive skin and have trouble with the above
copper products, then use Super GHK copper around your eyes. This
often works better for very reactive skin.

6. Daily supplements of 1 gram Vitamin C and 1 gram MSM also help
rebuild skin proteins. 1 to 2 grams of Borage oil, which contains high
levels of gamma linolenic acid, helps maintain skin integrity.

7. Also take a look at http://reverseskinaging.com/tighten.html

Dr. Pickart: I too have eye area bags from the brow bone to lid and underneath as well. I have been using Skin Signals for about 2 weeks, followed by two timing tightener, then emu, then my peptide cream. This morning, upper eye area was particularly saggy and wrinkly after using the cps. Do you think I should take a break, dilute the serum or continue? After my nightly ritual of cleansing, vitamin c serum and exfol serum, the eye area seems tighter again, but still a little more saggy than it was. Thanks for your help, Mary

Dear Marrry:

Skin Signals Solution is a very strong product and generally it is best to start with a much milder product for the sensitive skin around the eye area.

The key to rejuvenating this area is to go slow and use a gentle method of exfoliation combined with a mild but effective copper-peptide to trigger improved skin appearance.

Try diluting your Skin Signals with water and then use every other day, or use CP Night Eyes instead.

Best Wishes,
-Skin Biology
