Over the last few years, I have been developing a ton of cherry angiomas. I'm talking literally hundreds of them! 95%+ are pinpoint size, but a very few are as big as 1 to 1.5mm. Now, I know these are supposed to be benign, and from everything I've read, they fit the appearance, size, location (most of them on the lower half of my torso), typical age onset (I'm 49), etc. But I have yet to read of anyone describing having this many of them! I've always had a few, ever since early middle age, but they are really blooming like wildfire now. They cause me no discomfort, and cosmetic appearance is of absolutely no concern to me. I sure would be comforted, though, if someone can tell me that they have heard of others getting this many of them.(I have very little income -- I'm a full-time caretaker for my elderly mother -- and have no insurance, so I sure can't spend hundreds of dollars on tests that will probably tell me I'm worrying anouit nothing!) Thanks in advance!

This problem in Chinese medicine usually points to blood stagnation. Without going into detail, you could find an experienced Acupuncturist in your area to check this out for you. If I were you, I'd check to make sure how much experience the acupuncturist you chose has -- the more the better. This problem resolves with the right combination of points to use as well as herbal supplements. Good luck!! P.S. Sliding Scale fees are something you could ask about.

I had mine removed by the derm. It's a frustrating problem and I don't know of another solution.
