Do SCRP's have any affect on xanthelasma? I've been treating the one spot that I have with TCA 20% (I started out with a 15% solution) for about a year. The spot has become smaller. The last time I did a TCA Cross treatment, I followed with Bioheal. And I apply Super CP to the spot with a Q-tip at night.

TCA is used to reduce the lipid deposits but can cause scars.

Be careful to neutralize the skin after using TCA. The copper peptides should reduce any irritation caused by the TCA and reduce possible scarring.

I have a reoccuring pesty xanthelasma on the side of my nose about an inch below my inner canthus. It cropped up about 20 years ago. I've had it frozen off twice, used Renova and Nia24's Skin Conditioning cream. It's trying to grow again and I have kept it at by by using the Renova and Emu Oil. Freezing is OK but a little scary because of the location. I understand sometimes these can be caused by high cholesterol. I've also had a bump on my achille's tendon I think was from the same problem-my cholesterol level.

The xanthelasmas are filled with cholesterol but this is not due to a high blood cholesterol.

The best way might be to treat it like scar tissue to remove this skin region and have healthy skin grow in from the sides.
