My 28 year old son had just moderate acne as a teenager--nothing more than you might expect for a young male. Controlled it with benzoyl peroxide. His skin tends to be dry rather than oily, however. Now in his late 20's, his skin looks as bad as it ever has--primarily very reddish coloration from cheeks down with one to three break-outs at a time in the lower cheek/chin area. I think he still uses bp which might account for the redness. Since I had recently ordered LacSal cream for myself and loved it and since I also had some extra Supercop cream , I just gave him these two things to try. I told him to go very, very, very slowly with the supercop (personally I have never had any problems with using that)
I know usually the serum rather than cream is recommended for acne-prone skin, but since heis an adult with drier skin, might this still help his acne? Mary |

Generally we recommend the serums for acne problems and clearing acne scars.
If he does not start to break out again, then let him use the creams. |
