I only have the cp serum to work with, would it be beneficial for my scalp?? I'm going to try Emu Oil-S for moisturizing my scalp as well, where my psoriasis is quite scaley but haven't ordered yet.

Would the shampoo treatments be beneficial? I browsed that section of the forum but found no real info on psoriasis and the scalp specifically.

Hey Annette--I don't have psoriasis, but I do use CP's and emu for hair loss.

I would advise trying some of the Skin Biology products designed specifically for hair, rather than using CP serum on your scalp...at least for right now. They have a nice trial pack of all the products, where you can try the spray, lotion, cream, conditioner, shampoo and emu oil on this page http://www.skinbio.com/order2.html
about 2/3's of the way down. It's the "Folligen Total Combo Trial Pack", item #26, under the heading "Small sizes for purchase".

I really like the Folligen products (I use the spray, but out of a dropper bottle), and although I didn't like the shampoo the first couple of times I tried it, I have changed my mind and am about to order some more. Smiler

Hope that helps. I wish I could tell you more about CP's with psoriasis.

Let us know how it goes, okay? Big Grin

I just re-read your original post, and want to say if you want to get started now, why not try a few drops of CP serum on your scalp? It won't hurt you...I did it a few times...I suggested the Folligen because it's specifically formulated for head skin and hair follicle problems. Plus with the kit you get a sample of the Emu oil along with everything else.

Among quite a few other things, Smiler I've ordered samples of Emu Oil for Hair, Bioheal and Folligen Lotion from DY. There weren't any shampoo samples but if I like the lotion, I'll just order it. My hubby has been wondering about hair loss treatments for some time now, he's 44 and still has a lot of hair but it's now starting to thin.

I'll let you know how it works out, I can't wait to try this stuff!

I forgot to mention, I've applied the cp serum to my scalp and some times it soothes sometimes it's itchier so it may be too strong or just not moisturizing enough.

We have had many clients tell us that the copper peptides either reduced or eliminated psoriasis patches. A small study in China at the Shanghai Medical University found that the SRCPs reduced plaque thickness and itching.

You can just apply it to the scale on your scalp.

GHK copper reduces the production of alpha tissue necrosis factor (felt to cause many of the problems of psoriasis) and this may be why postive actions are often observed.
