In reviewing various posts, it seems that there is a consensus that CP serum, Emu oil and Retinol is Squalene may be helpful for cortisone damaged skin. What is the best way to begin using these products to thicken skin that has been thinned by cortisone usage and age?

Cortisone inhibits skin repair. H Paul Ehrlich (Penn State) was the first to find that copper peptides restored normal wound healing in cortisone-treated, immune depressed animals.

For cortisone damaged skin, the CPs and Emu Oil work well. But this takes time and do not overuse the CPs at first.

I have a few more questions:

Exactly which products do you recommend I purchase?

How does the Emu oil help?

How much should I use of each or do they come already mixed?

How often should I apply these keeping in mind that these areas are sensitive?

How long does it usually take before the skin starts to thicken?

Can I apply other creams on top of these if I experience any discomfort?

Once the skin thickens, do people typically need to continue to use these products?
