Got some new spider veins recently and yesterdy I tried using Arnica tincture on them. The bottle says to soak gauze in water and then add drops of the tincture and apply. Instead of water I'm using Aubrey Organics Aloe (which is as runny as water), and then adding the tincture. I dab it affected areas (on newly cleansed skin), wait awhile, then there's a bit of heat from the arnica, and then I apply HA, CP serum and whatever oil - squalene in retinol, emu, castor, coconut....

Doing it twice a day, I'm noticing that the veins are fading, yay! I'm now trying to do this to older ones, though as of yet I'm not sure if it's effective or is going to be effective. I think the arnica is doing most of the work, but perhaps the combo of HA and CPs are also helping.

If you don't like using HA, just leave it out. I'm only using it temporarily to aid in spot healing the skin.

I think I got the new veins from face exercising, which I've recently resumed, as they were in areas that I've been holding with resistence. Still, the results of facial exercises outweigh the possibility of getting veins. I never used to get veins from exercising. Must be older!

How is it going with the arnica treatment Julie - did you eliminate the veins completely?

I've had varicose veins on both legs and spider veins on my face due to pregnancy and giving birth. I've had them removed through sclerotherapy (legs) and laser treatment (face).

I use Arnica too. Haven't tried the tincture, but I will. It's probably more concentrated than a gel or cream.

Thanks for posting this, Julie.
