Hi again,

I received the LacSal cream and CP Serum last week. So far, this is how I've been using them:

AM
1. Cleanser & toner (has 1% Salicylic acid)
2. CP Serum
3. Sunscreen

PM
1. Cleanser & toner
2. Tretinoin
3. (after 30 minutes) LacSal Cream
4. (after 30 minutes) CP Serum
5. Cetaphil moisturizer

Is this combination/order okay? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi there,
Depending on how sensitive your skin is I would recommend using the CP serum in the AM only to start. Once you have used up your Cetaphil you may want to purchase squalane or Emu oil to add to your regimen.

I am trying to figure this out as well. I am a little concerned about using the BHA in the am b/c of potential sun damage. I do use sunscreen, but I am also quick to show pigment changes even with sunscreen usage.

How are the CP serums with sun exposure?

Here is my current regimen. The question is where to put in the BHA and how long to wait after application.

AM:
Gentle Clean
Sunscreen

PM:
Gentle Clean
Atralin (tretinoin gel .05%)
wait 30 mins
CP serum and spot treat with Super CP
wait 10 mins
Emu oil

Ok, I think I found the answer to my question in another forum. Wanted to pass along:

The SRCPs are usually rubbed into the scar area in the morning and the
Hydroxy acid product rubbed in at night. Stronger hydroxy acids and our
stronger SRCPs work faster but irritation can sometimes be a problem
with the stronger products. Sometimes, people also use retinoic acid
(Retin-A or Renova) along with the hydroxy acids to speed scar removal.
The products should be used every day.
