This feedback is not about the SB products but the forum.

I love learning from everyone's experience about using SB and non-SB products on this forum. I am proposing, however, there be a Welcome/Read_First topic visible to newcomers to the forum [maybe at top of the page] giving a brief navigation instruction and expectations from the participants. SB could consolidate and update easily all previous instructions about rules and expectations of the forum and how to navigate and use the the software in this one visible place under this Welcome category.

JW,
Welcome to the forum!
Have you ever been to the SB website? If you had you would know that you are asking a little too much from them. Big Grin
The best way to navigate this forum is to go to "find" and then "new since your last visit" and you should see all the topics since you last visited. Good luck and welcome again! Greg

Thanks Greg. It's just a suggestion for more efficient administration and organization for both SB and members. Like all newbies I spent a lot of time reading through past discussions and only read the navigation tips by accident. I am just thinking, in another six months, it would be nearly impossible for any new groupee to have the patience to read through the threads to see the navigation tips posted on day-one.

Dear JW - This was posted elsewhere under "News from Skin Biology"> How to Use Our New Forum:

Here is a re-post of the information:
Skin Biology invites all of you to please read carefully this section as it may have information that will help you enjoy our new forum and make it easier for you to learn.

HOW TO USE OUR NEW CHAT FORUM:

1. When logging in go directly to the FORUMS section and you will be directed to the main screen with our 10 Forums listed vertically.

2. Click on the forum of your interest, found on the Left hand side. (For "Healthy Skin", for example, click on those words and you will be directed all the posts under that forum. Or for "Skin Biology Product Help" just click on those words and be directed to all the posts under that category).

3. On the right hand side of the main screen is a list of the Last Posts made under each category. But there are many more posts than what may be hidden under Last Post. So be sure to click on the actual forum on the Left Side first.

4. For a quick view of all the New Posts just go to FIND > "New Since Your Last Visit" (This is an easy way to check up on all the new posts.

5. To Reply to a Post: Click on the arrows near REPLY toward the bottom or to reply to a specific message click on the folder with quotation marks to "Reply with Quote".

6. To Create your own message just go to New>DISCUSSION to start a brand new discussion. Or New>POLL to create a post that will allow the viewers to vote on something of your choice. Or New>PHOTO ALBUM to create your own slideshow of your progress to be posted under ADD PROGRESS PICTURES.

7. If you have posted a question and find that it is taking a long time for others to start responding...Take Heart! This new forum has just started and with a new forum, many just come to browse for some time before actually posting or responding to a post. So try different questions and posts and then patiently wait for answers and more traffic.

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:

A. You may want to go to NOTIFY (found under each category of forums) to be notified via email when someone replies to your post or message.

B. FIND> Advanced Search and FIND> New Since Last Visit are invaluable! Use them often to quickly find posts you are interested in.

C. If you run into anything that you'd like to learn more about, or have any "technical difficulties", send an email to: cassia@folligen.com

ENJOY,
-Skin Biology
