hi - i've been for 2 treatments of microdermabrasion. my skin looked awesome for the first 2 days after each and then i broke out a lot!! my Esthetician says this is normal because everything is being brought to the surface.... is this true??? everything i've read on microdermabrasion says how wonderful it is and how everyone loves how soft and beautiful their skin is... am i really the only person breaking out after these treatments and should i continue or run away? (at $100 a session, i hate to spend so much to be upset with my skin) Thanks for your feedback

You might substitute a derma roller.

Veronica,
If you Google it. A dermaroller is a hand held instrument with multiple fine "pins". When rolled over the skin gently in induces minor "injuries" that trigger a healing response. In theory the "healed" skin is smoother..
