from Scientific American, Oct 2008, pages 30-33.

Wrinkles and aging appear be due to a lack tissue regeneration with age. This is due to changes in genetic programming with time.

Wrinkles and aging are not primarily (or at all) due to free radicals, and cell and DNA damage.

Comment: The old wrinkle formation ideas always had problems. Young children can play in the sun for years without developing skin damage and wrinkles. In children, skin remodeling is very high and damage is quickly removed.

Copper peptides trigger regeneration of skin and many other organs. But the key factor inside the body, GHK-Cu, drops sharply as we get older. Nothing else in the human body has the tissue regenerative actions of GHK.

Hi Dr. Pickart,
So, does that mean that GHK-Cu copper would work better on wrinkles than regular cp serum. I'm not sure if that's a silly question or not, but I was just thinking I would rather use GHK-Cu copper if that would work better, especially in the areas that wrinkls might develope.

Thank you Smiler

No, all of my tests on the newer peptides are based on modeling I developed for GHK. The key is to activate remodeling and skin repair. For this the newer peptides are better.

GHK is the baseline for understanding what happens since it is in the human body.

So....that means that the newer peptides such as cp serum, super cp serum and TriReduction would be best for remodeling and skin repair. Is that right. Thank you for helping me understand.

Yes. In many comparison studies, they were about ten times more effective than GHK.
