Since going thru menopause I see that my right eyelid in particular is droopier (possible cause I sleep on that side). I never had huge eyelids but this droop is bothering me. I have so much extra skin hanging from my brow area on the lateral side of my right lid. My mom (88) also has droopy eyelids so I guess it's genetic.
What do people suggest??

Dear scanmike:

Many have had great success using the method outlined at: How to Renew Skin Around Eyes with Copper-Peptides

What works best around this very delicate area is a mild copper-peptide for heightened production of collagen and elastin. Use CP Night Eyes Premier or GHK-Copper Cream (if you have very sensitive skin).

On top, apply a light amount of Two Timing Tightener (a DMAE tightening serum that works as a membrane stabilizer). DMAE stimulates tightening under the skin and is the perfect "finisher" on top of copper-peptides.

In the evening, use Exfol Serum very lightly. Exfol Serum might work well here since it is very fluid and only a very light amount will need to be used to see results.

Best Wishes,

I too have loose skin above (and below) my eyes.

1. DMAE/Two Timing Tightener. I saw a older comment on this forum by Dr. Pickard that mentioned DMAE as a 'temporary' tightener.

Is this still his view? ie is Two Timing Tightener just to improve the appearance vs actually restoring tighter skin? Over the phone a customer service person told me that TTT would gradually improve more, which implied more than temporary...?

Not that temporary doesn't have value, because it does. Just important to clarify.

2. ExFol or no, around eyes? Also, I get very confused as whether or not you are recommending the your exfoliation creams for around the eyes or not. Is it that they work better than just CP if you can tolerate it, but many cannot? Right now I lightly use a microdermabrasion cloth every 2 days.

If you alternate TTT with a CP, your skin should permanently tighten up.

Some people use it around the eyes. But the FDA does not allow recommending such products for use around the eyes.
