I would like to know more about galvanic current facial treatments. There are several on the market now designed for home use - one company in particular which is quite well known for this device. From what I have read, it is an ultrasonic delivery of positive/negative ions into the skin in order to cleanse the skin of toxins and then also to carry treatment serums deep into the skin's layers. Of course you have to use the company's serums that are supposedly "cutting edge" in the anti-aging arena. I have read of remarkable, almost instant good results of the diminishing of fine lines and also deeper furrows to include a building of collagen and elastin from the serum useage. Of course the company that sells the small unit also recommends to use their serums with the unit. I wonder if Skin Biology's copper peptides could be used with this a machine and if so, would there be good results as well? Also, and most importantly, I am curious to know what might happen to the skin after discontinuance of the machine. There is also another well known "machine" using microcurrent with a conductive solution. This device was made famous by a celebrity-this device seems to work on the same principalas the galvanic system??? I sometimes wonder if strong magnets applied to the skin would have the same action as these devices - and what would be the consequences (good/bad) if magnets were used with copper peptides? Please excuse me for such an archaic notion.
Thanks for your time

Some spas have used current devices with our serum with good results.

But most of the "cutting edge" is just hype. Such machine have been around for 50 years without making any impact on skin care.

Many of the celebrities have horrible skin. Take a good look at movie stars on film in a movie or with a large HD TV screen.

Hi Kathy M Waving -

I have used two (Suzanne Somers FaceMaster and Isomers Nutritone) of these machines in the past 13 yrs. with some good results of a bit more toning/firmness. I have also used the Facial Flex and Flex-Away devices...and continue to use them once a day as I really think that they work the neck area well... I am now back to using Facial Flex as it's so fast and easy to use - I use it 1x per day for about 2 min.

I recently ordered the new Nutritone and the new Platinum FaceMaster from Suzanne Somers. I do like the way my skin feels after using the Nutritone and notice I look well rested and somewhat firmer. I am totally blown away by the Platinum FaceMaster...my results are amazing!! I also love that you can really sculpt your face (lift one eyebrow more to match other eyebrow...one cheek a bit more)...and it actually works! I called the company and it has a different wave pattern and a bit more oomph than the old model...for me, the results are totally different and I am thrilled! When I ordered it I did not expect to love it, but it is now a HG for me!

I do not think you must use the serums they sell to get the results. I use plain ole Aloe Vera Gel when I rum out of Conductive Fluid and it works great. Always wash/rinse off the conductive fluid whatever you use. I also then use Copper Peptides, LacSal or salycilic acid and Emu Oil during the day, and Retin-A at night. I also use a little Reviva DMAE mainly on my upper eye area. I love SkinBio's Day Cover during the summer also for protection from the sun...it is GREAT on top of my Emu Oil for a makeup base also. I need very little makeup as my skin really glows now and I have no wrinkles or sagging...amazing because I am so not young...but young at heart!

Best Regards...Sunni from the far north! Smiler

For Sunni in the Far North.

I grew up in Winona, Minnesota and did my undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota. Then one day it was 32 below zero in Minneapolis and I was offered a job in Santa Barbara. That got me to the West Coast.

Hi Dr. Pickart! Waving

Yes, in the middle of winter it has crossed my mind also...there's nowhere I'd rather be than near the ocean and milder weather! If the opportunity arose, I think I would be packing! The only problem for me...my children would not want to move at this point! I love heading out to the coast for vacations every chance I get!

Thank you for the GREAT products! Bravo!
