For Creative1 and Erika,
I started with the strong stuff right away from the scar kit and figuring a wrinkle was kind of like a scar I wanted to see what happened.I didn't work my way up.Some days I get carded but today,I didn't.I put on a lot of Super Cop 2x last night and I am willing to do it to get my scars going away faster!I look good in a day. I was also considering putting tape between the brows as I also frown at night. And I sleep on the face, getting those bottom mouth ones from that but I think the c.p.s are improving the collagen anyway so it will be tough enough to let me sleep that way.Bad guys chasing me too. Well,we can work thru it all in the dreams. |

Hi, thanks! Many years ago I used to use sticky labels on the line above my lip when I slept because I think I got that from sleeping but I stopped and started using Retin-A instead. I think the label actually helped! Maybe I should go back to it!

glowing and Erika,
I suggested using the tape at night in the deep wrinkles thread here. Masking tape or transparent tape work well for me, or stickers, too. creative1 |

That is so funny picturing your faces with little stickers on them but it is a great idea!!!The stickers would make it more fun.I put on Scotch tape on the furrow last night and over the super cop 2x.I must admit I was a little scared to see what would happen since I was amplifying its effects as you would with the Saran wrap and keeping it in place for longer. But when you've had acne, you know anything can pop up on any day so you're already used to dealing with that! So,I tried it and today the line between the eyebrows looks a little more jaggedy like it's breaking it up.I think over time this would make it go away. There isn't anything bad that happened.I think I may try it with a little tape at the edge of the mouth to lift it up.Maybe the lady with the droopy corners should try that before that awful botox???!!!

Okay y'all, You are kind of loosing me...
I'm not quite sure I get it, but maybe there is something to it that I am missing?... I have noticed that for me that the deep crease that forms on the chin was actually years of buried damage. As it has surfaced & has been cleared up & removed, the crease has diminished significantly. Same with the squint furrows in between my eyes. Smiling during the day is probably the BEST answer for droopy corners in your mouth... Just curious how the "Sticker Girls" are making out? |

stoney,
Before I ever came here, I started putting masking tape, Scotch tape, or a sticker on the '11' lines between my brows. I had noticed that the furrow looked deeper when I woke up than when I went to bed. Knowing me, I figured I was frowning a lot in my sleep. If I put something like tape or a sticker on it before bed, it prevents me from making the lines a lot worse with frowning. This means that for me, it's an expression line. I don't use this anywhere else on my face, but it definitely lessens the depth of the lines very quickly and keeps them from getting deep. So,for me, stoney it can both diminish and prevent. If I haven't done it for a few nights, i notice the frown lines, '11', furrow -whatever you want to call it. IF I start the tape or stickers again, it lightens up in a couple of nights. Not saying it would work for everyone. It does for me. I obviously frown more in my sleep than I do awake, too! Ever hear of Frownies? It's the homemade version of those. It's certainly better than Botox. And does no damage to my skin that I can tell in several years of use. creative1 |

Okay creative1...NOW I understand..
I guess I don't frown in my sleep since when I wake up I have NO noticeable lines. I do however, have those brow furrows become more prominent when I am working outside. If I come in & look in the mirror, I jump Most of it is my OWN fault since I am forever taking off my sunglasses as well as my work gloves that are supposed to be protecting my hands. Even though I have an accounting degree I will NEVER have accountant's hands!... I'm NOT sure what frownies are, but they must be some sort of "furrow bashers"??? Sweet Dreams... |

Awww, Thanks for the sweet dreams! Hi! Are accountant's hands hands that have never seen an honest day's gardening? Not sure. Yeah, Frownies are 'furrow bashers'. They are made for the furrows and for outer eye lines. They are chemical free, like the tape and sticker treatment! They just cost a lot more than stickers or a roll of tape. I guess Frownies can be 'theoretically' worn during the day, but I don't quite know how unless you are Dracula or Michael Jackson with a mask. creative1 |

Yes creative1,
I suppose they never considered that accounts do anything else besides just account when they came up what that saying... My accountant, who was a "Brilliant CPA" also owned an Auto Body Shop...Yikes!... As for dreams, the reason I don't wake up with any lines on my face is because I can fly. When the bad guys are chasing me (and they always are) I pump my arms & go higher & higher until I reach the air current, then it is smooth sailing for me. I've had some close calls, but I always get away... I still also dream that I can fly down my grandmothers cellar stairs.... it is so vivid & real. My husband says that it was probably from when I was a baby with my dad holding me out in front of him gliding down the stairs. Knowing my father, that was probably true. So, I now have him to thank for warding off the "sleeping furrows"... Dreams for some are all about living, but for others, living is just about dreaming... |

Stoney already said she didn't worry about wrinkles yet-more the scars!!!Yes,if you are like an old movie star, you know about "WRINKIES" and "Frownies".I paid for both but actaully think tape works better.
I also notice the relaxation and deep breathing and not eating something late will keep me from frowning and battling in the dreams. And the lavendar essential oil.I have a wine bottle cork soaked with it next to the bed.I also try to note when I'm furrowing and release it,during the day.The tape works for the scars not just the wrinkles,in sealing it in and cooking it.It brings up crazy stuff!!!!! |

Yes glowing, that is interesting about taping & cooking the scars w/ Super COP -or- 2X.
That intensifies the action just like the red LED. I've found that when the hidden junk starts to push up, there are tiny pieces of scar tissue in the pores that MUST be removed in order for the spot to heal properly. That is the challenging part for me , at least. Once the attached crap is removed the skin fully rengerates to smooth young skin... I have also found that the uncovering of the severe BP damage under my skin has been chronological. The newest damage surfaces 1st, then slowly goes back in time. Maybe it is different if you didn't use BP??? Wrinkle reduction has NOT been my concern since I know that it along with tightening is the pleasant by-product of scar reduction & in my case undoing my hidden BP NIGHTMARE... Keep on taping girls until you are 17 again!... |

Yes,I tink that same thing happened with me as it was coming out of the pores.I do not know if it is bp or cortisone!Could cortisone have lasted in my face for twenty years?I think when all this is cleared up,I will not have any more breakouts!I think that the skin was hardened from that bp and the stuff just kept trying to push out over and over again, creating a really deep and sore mess. The scars!I think it's an atrocity!Evil to do this to innocent people trying to get rid of something on their faces that already causes such grief only to have a nightmatre later.WOW!I was wondering why the price of Proactive dropped so dramatically...

The effects of cortisone can be very long lasting. Skin depressions can last for years. While the cortisone should have cleared from the area, the skin damage can remain.
