Hi, I've been working on a razor scar above my lip since September. It may be slowly improving but now I am seeing that some other lines above my lip have gotten worse. What is best to treat these? I am using lacsal/super cop serum/retin-a and super cop 2x, alternating these products. Since these lines are in the same area as the scar the products are also getting on them but they seem to be getting worse, not better.

Dear Erika:
Are you also using a good method of manual abrasion? It might be time to add some type of actual abrasion to your skin regimen and gently start abrading damage that you may see coming to the fore. This at times can happen. Since the skin is in layers and damage is in layers, it's important to recognize that past damage can be "hiding" underneath waiting to be exposed as you are using strong skin remodeling products. But this can all be successfully dealt with by finding your balance between using copper-peptides and doing enough exfoliating. You'll want to review and bookmark the following page: Tips on Using SRCPs - A helpful guide as you use strong skin remodeling products Best Wishes, -Skin Bio Team |
