I'm 28 years old. I have very thick hair, which seems healthy too. The only problem is that I have tons and tons of gray hair. I hate it! I have to coulour my hair at least every month, since it grows so fast. The interesting thing is that even when I was 18 years old I had a lot of gray hair. What can I do? I know that there's nothing to make them go back to my colour, but at least some method to improve this situation? Things I can take orally? copper peptites?

You might be taking in too much zinc which can drive out the copper needed for hair pigment formation.

Copper is the key element in the enzyme tyrosinase which converts the amino acid tyrosine into the hair pigments.

Try applying a small amount of Folligen Solution to your scalp about 4 nights per week. Follow this with a very light amount of Emu Oil for Hair to help drive the copper peptides into the hair follicles and also get the beneficial actions of the oil on your hair.

Many of our clients have reported that this method often turns gray hair back to darker, colored hair. Sometimes white hair turns back to blond hair.

Also try using at least 4 mgs of supplemental copper daily and drop any supplemental zinc.

thank you for your kind response. Your input is much appreciated. However, I have NEVER taken zync. I would love to take copper supplements, where can I buy them? I have never found a supplement that contained copper alone. Just multivitamins that had copper, among other things

You should be able to find copper-glycinate. This is a complex of copper ion and the amino acid glycine.

All I could find was copper gluconate. Is there a difference between this and the copper-glycinate you recommended?

Thanks!

Copper gluconate does not effectively enter the body.

Swanson's Vitamins should have copper-glycinate.
